How Photogrammetry Works
Photogrammetry is the science of extracting accurate measurements and 3D information from photographs. During a drone survey, our drones capture numerous high-resolution images from various angles. These images are then processed using advanced software, which stitches them together to create a detailed 3D model of the surveyed area. The result is a highly accurate representation of the terrain or structure, with accuracy levels typically within a few centimetres, making it ideal for applications such as construction planning, site monitoring, and environmental assessments.
